Roswell Memorial Day Ceremony and Picnic
Join us at the Roswell Memorial Day Ceremony, Monday – May 26th, to honor the service and sacrifice of local veterans. The ceremony includea wreath-laying, 21 gun salute, followed by a picnic on the beautiful grounds of The Faces of War Memorial. A concert and BBQ sale follow. Please consider visiting your Saturday morning farmers market when planning your picnic. Our vendors give nod to the USDA for creating the Veteran-Farmers program in recognition that 44% of recruits come from rural areas of American and that 20% of returning veterans are unemployed.
