Roswell Azalea Festival

Roswell Farmers and Artisans Market will host an azalea sale to benefit an endowment at Roswell's Cottage School. The inaugural Roswell Azalea Festival hopes to raise thousands of dollars to cover education costs for students with special needs.  The Cottage School serves children with unique resources that are typically unavailable in traditional schools. Spring Kale Salad – Sunflower Seeds, Pears and Cheese!

Spring Kale Salad  Ingredients 2 bunches of kale, washed, de-stem, leaves chopped 1 pear, chopped or sliced (may substitute strawberries) 1/4 cup toasted sunflower seeds 1/4 cup shredded cheese, parmesan or rubusto salt to taste 1 tablespoon rice vinegar 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 1 tablespoon maple syrup 2 tablespoons olive oil Instructions Whisk the rice & balsamic vinegars, maple syrup, & olive oil in a bowl. Toss dressing with chopped kale. Season with salt. Toss in pear, seeds, and cheese.
